It’s no secret that I like to unplug over the weekends. I think family time is very important and last weekend was PACKED with family time for me!
Months ago (feels like forever!) I purchased tickets to see Madonna in concert when she came to the Bay Area. I kept searching for tickets when they went on sale and with my 4th click (ok maybe it was 400) I saw the words FLOOR SEATS. I HAD TO HAVE THEM.
I knew who I really wanted to go see this concert with and it wasn’t my lovie boy Sean. Sorry sweetie. Don’t feel bad for him- he told me to to sell his ticket online! lol So I planned a birthday weekend for my baby brother and flew him here from NY for the celebration!
Madonna concert was AMAZING, but honestly the family time was even better. I always have fun with my brother Steve, and we also got to spend the day with my Mom & Dad on Sunday. I am so happy that I was able to enjoy everyone's company and especially my brother’s since he lives so far away. We really made the most of the fast weekend.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE Madonna!! I FINALLY got to see her in 2001 after waiting about 16 years. I completely fell apart when she walked out on stage...kinda like those lame videos you see of all the ladies screaming and crying over the Beatles...YUP that was me. I hope you enjoyed the show as much as I did. Definitely something that I will remember for the rest of my life!
