Hi guys! I know when I post items that you can only get from one store people get a little sad. I feel bad, but this is yet again a Trader Joe’s item that I really enjoy for helping get dinner on the table FAST!
This pre-marinated thinly sliced chicken breasts makes for a TASTY taco night! We throw them on the grill and because they are so thin, just a few minutes on each side and they are good to go!
Stumbled upon this salsa at Costco…pretty tasty!

& another EASY EATS was born!
The chicken is so moist and seasoned with lots of great flavors! I served these with some shredded red & white cabbage, & diced green onions. I put out sour cream too, but I loved this salsa & used only that as my topping. YUM
Have you ever used this pollo asado from TJ’s before? Did you make tacos with it? I bet it would be great in a Mexican inspired salad as well. YUM!
What I like about showing everyone the EASY EATS I like to have is that cooking at home does not have to be hard. Honestly this was easier than heading out to grab a bite and struggling with all of the temptations that I know I face with opening a restaurant menu! lol

ReplyDeleteI rarely shop at Trader Joe's because the closest one to me is over an hour away.
ReplyDeleteHowever, my husband and I are moving to Washington in a couple of weeks and a TJ's will be within 20 minutes!! So I say, bring on the TJ's recipes! I can't wait to be able to shop there every week!
now I'm realizing I've never tried Mission's corn tortilla wrap. Must fix that immediately.

ReplyDeleteHi Gina- I did not post the PP for this meal, I was just giving an idea of an easy meal that I like to make. That chicken from TJ's is very low PP and those Mission Extra thin tortillas are 2 for 2PP so depending on what toppings you like on your tacos- it can be really low! :)
