I gave myself the title BAD BAKER a while back and I’m serious…if I’m not closely monitored in the kitchen while I bake things can go horribly wrong. I honestly think it’s OK…I can live with the fact that I cook well, yet bake bad. lol
So when I want to bring a treat to a dinner party I rely on GOOGLE (yes, I Google) to help me find something EASY!
BEHOLD the two…yes 2! Ingredient cake:

oohh…. tasty!

Ok ok…so I made a glaze and threw on some toasted almond slices, but the cake is really only 2 ingredients! whoohooo
Pumpkin Cake
1 box yellow cake mix
1 can pure pumpkin
With a hand mixer; mix cake mix and pumpkin together until smooth. Pour into an 8x8 Pyrex dish sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Added into the Weight Watchers Recipe Builder
24 slices are 2 PP each-- sans the glaze & almonds.
*optional glaze- mix juice from a fresh squeezed orange with cinnamon and powdered sugar until thick. No I don’t measure- I just mix till thick. ![]()
ENJOY!

ReplyDeleteYummy! That sure is an easy cake! :) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI didn't have any! lol Everyone loved it though! :) I saw it also made with devils food cake mix & topped with chocolate chips as topping. :)
ReplyDeleteI think this makes you a GOOD baker. It's simple, healthy and was likely delicious. Have a great Thursday.
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a baker either, but I do like to make goodies around the holidays!
ReplyDeleteI had to read this post just because of the title. I will try making these as cupcakes!
