Hi!

I can not believe how long it's been since I last blogged. I feel bad but I'm sure all of you can understand how much work FUN a new home can be :)

I went to my old Weight Watchers meeting on Tuesday (I was up .4) and I must say that I don't see myself wanting to make the drive over unless I had something else to do in that area :( Which makes me sad and also now I gotta find another meeting. I didn't care for the meeting a town away that I tried a couple of weeks ago so now I gotta switch days and for me changing my routine is hard.

Speaking of routine....my POOL schedule has been all messed up too. Again it's 30 min away and I don't want to drive over to JUST go to the pool. I NEED to make a plan and I need to do it soon for my own sanity!!! lol I am such a creature of habit and kinda freak out when change happens with SOME things. lol

So for dinners I have been going straight to my recipe link section on THIS BLOG! I needed some old favorites- Stuffed Peppers, Butternut Squash Flatbread, Peppers & Eggs, & Fake Chinese Night were all enjoyed recently. These are all easy and that is what I needed the past couple of weeks. :) YUM!

I took pics of a few meals to keep myself honest, hey it works for me! :)

Oh this one snuck in because I had to snap how pretty the sunset was! :)
a lil salad for lunch, ok it wasn't so little, but it was delicious!
Tube steak night. lol Fat Free ONE POINTSPLUS hot dog! whoohoo
I thought this was a cool map in a magazine we got. Down on the lower right side is the new city we moved to and then it shows you the next town above us, Napa and all of the cool places to visit there. :) We need to go out & explore!
Breakfast! 1 egg +1 egg white, light mayo egg salad open face sandwich w/ 2 cuties!
The cookbooks finally made it into the house! I put them on my old bookcase (that is too small for them) until we get a bookcase built. :)
Last night I wanted to make a treat for Sean so I looked at the list I have of angel food cake ideas and saw this version that I had not tried before.
 1 Box cake mix
1/2 C unsweetened cocoa
1 1/3 C strong coffee
Mix all, bake at 350 for 40 min in an angel cake pan.

TADA! It was good, however it would have been better with some cool whip, whipped cream OR a dollop of pudding on top of it. :)

Today I am off to run some errands! I am doing my very best to be a TRACKMASTER this week even tho I am super busy! What ONE thing are you committed to doing this week?

I hope everyone is doing well! Have a great day!!:) BYE! Pin It

  1. I am so happy that your move is going well! I know that it's a bummer to change your routine, but look at it as a way to get renewed motivation. :)

Thanks for commenting on my blog today! :)

  2. Yum. TJ. I totally understand the crisis a change in routine creates. I hope that you are able to find a new happier routine. Believe me, it's worth it to have the convenience/time/gas in your pocket again.

  3. I'm totally a routine person so I stress out at just the THOUGHT of a possible routine change. My husband talks me off the ledge quite a bit. :D

LMAO...I've never heard hot dogs called tube steak before!

Oh, I've been meaning to tell you that my swim teacher told me to get polyester swimsuits as they don't deteriorate in the chlorine like Lycra ones do. She's in the pool everyday and they last her a couple of years.

    Have a great day!

  4. Oooh that cake looks delish!

I am a creature of habit as well, so I can understand what you are saying. I have kids so some days we do fly by the seat of our pants but I crave my routine.

My goal this week is to drink 80oz of water each day. Today is day one and I have 20 down. 60 more to go!

  5. I will have to try that cake. I've done the one with angel food cake mix and pineapple, and it's good. But a little chocolate sounds yummy.

Hope you can find a new routine that's as comfortable as the old was...soon!

  11. So glad you are okay, I was wondering since you hadn't posted for such a long time.

I hate a change in routine too! Hopefully you will find a good WW meeting to attend. It does make a difference.

That cake looks pretty good. I am not a huge fan of Angel food but once in a while I like it with fresh strawberries!

  15. Hey girlie,

I am not super impressed with the meetings in Napa, however, I have heard the Saturday leader is awesome.

Ironically, I do not go to any of the ones in Fairfield :D I go to Vacaville and I LOVE my leaders there.

If you decide you want to venture up that way, Perla (Wednesday) and Chris (Sunday) are awesome. So is Christine (I think she is on Fridays).

Glad you are getting settled into the new place and that you have stayed on track while moving!

Next week my schedule is open :D

Have an awesome weekend - mine is 3-days!
