Ok so a few pics- Sean never wants presents and the ones that I get him are always personal. So I ordered a picture book from Snapfish. HE LOVED IT! (aww sick boy)
Dad in his robe...
my favorite pic but its BLURRY! Mom opening her iPad. I love the shocked face! lol :)
Sick boy making our traditional pizzas!
My Mom cutting into the dish she makes ONCE A YEAR that I was DYING FOR! I have no idea how to spell it. lol It's dough with ground pork, cheese, spices, & anchovy oil. YUM!
look how happy a slice makes me!ooh yes!
Ah yes, back to reality! BIG ASS SALAD! Lettuce, red cabbage, shredded carrots, garbanzo beans, grilled chicken, toasted sliced almonds.
This Trader Joes dressing that I tried is tasty!
Nice stats!
Today I had to run over to see my parents...lunch was a turkey & roast beef sandwich on a bagel thin, pickles, & popchips. :)
Dinner was vegetable won ton soup. YUM!
I have been really busy reading and learning all of the lessons in the book 8 Steps To A Pain Free Back.
I go back tomorrow for another session with Esther. I know the first few days after I saw her I kept waiting to feel more pain...it's a very strange feeling for me to be in constant pain then all of a sudden it's a much lower pain level than I have been used to. Weird! I am really happy that I already can tell these sessions are working for me. :) It will be something that I need to focus on and constantly practice, but it is worth it! :)I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday! I have been really behind on reading blogs with all of the homework I have been doing for my sessions. :-/ I miss reading I really do! Hope everyone is doing well with all of this crazy weather out there too! STAY SAFE!
BYE! :)
I am THRILLED about the improvement in your back! That is sooooo awesome! I love seeing your dad's face after hearing his nice voice this afternoon. (tell him a BIG THANKS from me). And as for your mom, believe me, my face would be just as shocked to receive an iPad, especially since I have now asked TWICE and the birthday and Xmas elves have declined both now. Valentines Day? Mothers Day? Groundhog Day? A girl can hope.
ReplyDeleteThat concoction of your mother's looks might yummy.
ok, now I know I shouldn't ask this(but I'm gonna anyway).....if I promise to only make it once a year too, will your Mom share her pork/anchovy bake with us (please please pretty please;)
ReplyDeleteI love the look on your mom's face.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, think I may steal your idea about the picture book. That's really neat.
Holy moly that pizza looks so good!!!
YAY for less back pain!!!!!
ReplyDeletea .8 gain after a major food holiday is not bad T.J. Glad your back is healing. smile
ReplyDeleteOnly a .8 gain after Christmas, awesome!
ReplyDeleteAnd the food looks like it was worth the tiny gain!!
Glad to hear your back is feeling better! Less back pain is a GOOD thing!
I'm so glad you had a great holiday, TJ. You'll have that small gain off in no time flat. :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a good Christmas TJ! :)
ReplyDeleteBIG woo hoo for less back pain!! What a great Christmas gift! And only .8 up??? NO biggie!!! Sorry to hear Sean was sick, hope he's on the mend!!!
ReplyDeleteAt least you were brave enough to get on the scale...I am not even at the point yet. Damage control. LOL I will get there though. Life and weight loss are not lived in a linear line, there are ups and downs, the important thing is not to lose track of the direction we desire to go in. :)
ReplyDeleteGood job on the little gain! I was up 2 pounds but no worries it will go away fast!
ReplyDeleteThe food looks so wonderful! Hope Sean is feeling better.
That pear dressing from Trader Joes looks so yummy i'll have to try it!
