Mini Pizza Pockets

A few weeks ago I was contacted by the people at Nasoya to give their products a try. I got a few coupons to get some free items and got to cookin!

I picked the Round Wraps located in the refrigerated section in the produce department.
I tried to rotated this pic 3X...ggrrr...please tip you head to the left, gently. :)

Nice stats! :)

They have many ideas for fillings but I decided to just make up my own. :)  I sauteed about a cup of red onion, then threw in 1 1/2 C chopped up fresh mushrooms. I let the mix cool and drained any liquid from it. I diced up one bell pepper really small and added that to the mix too.
Added in some low fat ricotta cheese, 3 tablespoons of parmesan cheese, 1 Tablespoon dried parsley, & S&P.
Mix well
Added about a teaspoon size amount of the mix to the wrapper- dipped my finger in some water & ran it along the edge to wet it a little for "glue"

Folded it over and sealed it with a lil fork press
all lined up and ready to bake!

uh oh, I had extra mix. humm how do I subtract Weight Watcher points for that? lol
Got my napkin ready to dig into the tasty treats...

I was also sent a jar of fabulous Marinara Sauce for dipping! This was good sauce! YUM!

I sprayed a cookie sheet with PAM and placed these lil guys down then sprayed them again. Baked at 425 for 8 min, then turned them over for an additional 8 min.
Came out nice and crispy for a healthy baked MINI PIZZA POCKET! :) YUM!
I did add everything into the Weight Watchers recipe builder to get points, then I had leftover filling! I got all confused how to re-calculate all of the ingredients based on what was left in the bowl so I am just going with what I got when I entered the original recipe. 10 pieces for 7 points plus extra for the dipping sauce. Great stats for a tasty finger food meal!

Thanks to the Nasoya company for the opportunity to try out their products! Pin It

  4. I just started following your blog yesterday & you've really got me thinking about joining WW again.
I joined earlier this year but was kinda not into it so to speak because I didn't get why fruits/veggies would count towards your pts + I struggled with making stuff at home like you did with this recipe.
However, I'm doing research & following a lot of bloggers that are on the WW new program & I really want to give it a try.
Please keep these recipes coming & keep up the good work =]

  10. YUM! I always have always wanted to try to "stuff" things into egg roll wrappers, ever since I saw an apple pieish recipe on Hungry girl, but just never got around to it. I think I would enjoy this product, as I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the chicken potstickers from TJ's...maybe I could make a version of my own. I have had that brand of marinara before..yes, it is very yummy! congrats on your freebies!
