Hello! I am in charge of making the pie & the dip! So I got to makin today...
This is the 3rd year I've made the Weight Watchers Pumpkin Pie and it is delicious! Mine got a crack in it- boo! :-/
Dip- This was my first try at this WW Hot Spinach-Artichoke Dip & WOW, it's TASTY! :) I bet tomorrow it will taste even better when the flavors blend over night. YUM!
Then I'm not sure what got into me, I may have been possessed by Martha Stewart for a little while- I made another dessert! With NO recipe! lol I jotted down what I did then added it all to the WW recipe builder to see what the points were. 3 points! Not too shabby! :) Looks & smells good!
Crust- Mix 3 oz reduced fat graham crackers-mashed up. 2TB melted butter, & 1 TB brown sugar. Once mixed add add to pie or tart dish and press down firmly with your fingers. Bake at 350 for 10-12 min or until browned slightly.
Filling- peel, slice apples squeeze w/fresh lemon juice. Toss with 1 TB cinnamon, 1 TB water, & 1TB brown sugar. Add to large saute pan and cook on medium heat until apples are soft. - add to pie or tart pan on top of browned crust.
Crumble- in medium saute pan, melt 2 TB unsalted butter, once butter is melted add in 1/3 C rolled oats, 5TB flour, & 2TB sugar (I used brown) mix well then add to top of apple mixture. Bake for 30 min at 350 degrees or until crumble is brown.

:) Ok...I am about to go collapse! haha! That was a lotta standing for my back today. I am DONE!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow! Sean and I will be headed out to my parents house and I am looking forward to a relaxing day.
I am so thankful to all of my blogger friends out there! You all keep me focused and make this journey fun! Thanks everyone!
Bye! :)

I hope your thanksgiving is great! The one you made up with no recipe looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhen you get a chance, mail me a piece of the pie and some dip. Send homemade tortilla chips with the dip...thanks. That is all.
ReplyDeleteYou're the bomb. You're like a Weight Watcher Rachel Ray or something. You need your own show! We need a show. You can show what to cook and I can show how to jazz up their sexy new body after they lose weight.
ReplyDeleteYou're a baking/cooking machine. I haven't quite fallen in love with pumpkin yet. Maybe one of these days...
ReplyDeleteHope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I'm making that apple crumble thing! I love anything apple-cinnamony!
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm so glad I stopped by - such yummy & "doable" food (which for me is a must cuz I'm a disaster in the kitchen LOL). I just may try the pie and the crustless quiche - mmmm!
