I went to the pool today and was excited to come home to put my data into the new spreadsheet that Sean (my numbers guy) made me. :) So here are my stats for the week so far!
Whoohooo! I am so happy that I can see the calories that I am burning doing my pool exercises now- makes it real to me. I knew I had to be doing something in that water- but I had no idea how much! :) I LOVE IT! :) Lunch today was some of the Sweet Potato Chili I made- and a bowl of raspberries and blackberries that I scarfed down. Dinner for tonight will be EASY with or without Sean. He might have a meeting tonight so I knew to take out some chicken for myself to just cook up real fast & toss into one of my favorite TV DINNERS! You read that correctly- I LOVE A BOXED MEAL! lol This Smart Ones is delicious.
** UPDATE** Doctored Up Frozen TV Dinner- added 1 cup fresh steamed broccoli & 3 ounces chicken. YUM! :)
The timer just went off- gotta get the laundry out so I can add in another batch! Do I know how to have FUN or what? :) OHH I will be having FUN soon! One of my blog buddies- Lola is in town next week for business. She has been a huge help to me along my journey and always offers me support! We are planning to meet up in San Francisco next Friday and I am SUPER excited! I know we will have a fun time! :) See ya soon Lola! :)
Have a GREAT evening everyone!!! :) BYE!
I didn't know you lived in Northern California! Me too!!! You live in the Bay Area? I live about 30 minutes East of Sacramento.
ReplyDeleteThose are impressive calorie burns, TJ! What a great sweetie Sean is to make you that spreadsheet :)
ReplyDeleteThe particular WW frozen meal is my favorite too. I haven't used them for awhile, but it's always good to keep them on hand for whenI'm alone and don't want to have to do too much. I've even used Perdue shortcut chicken with it! Talk about lazy!
Sorry you're so busy with all that laundry. But remember... LIGHT STARCH this time. Last week my shirts were so stiff I could hardly wear em...
ReplyDeleteWow TJ you are killing it in the pool!
ReplyDeleteI got to meet one of my internet friends a couple of weeks ago and it was so much fun!
I have not tried that WW entree but I will look for it and give it a try. Sometimes it is nice to have a quick meal in the freezer. Rarely do I eat by myself but you never know it might happen!
Morgan I am in Northern CA too! There might be a bunch of us in this area.
You know what? I never considered adding more veggies to frozen lunches.. I think I'm gunna try that! A lot of times I eat them for lunches at work - it would be easy to micro-steam some extra veggies while I'm at it. Great thinking!
ReplyDeleteI SOOOOOOOO miss that particular frozen dinner! I've been having a "woe is the gluten free me" pity party the past couple of days. Gotta find a good & easy alternative!
ReplyDeletewhy am I not surprised that you doctor up a frozen dinner :-). TJ you put the doctor in doctoring up meals, lady you need you're own cooking channel :-)
ReplyDeleteWay to burn those calories my friend.
You are kicking butt in the pool girl! That is amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteI love being geeky with spreadsheets and things!
ReplyDeleteThat little ball looks so lonely...tee hee.
ReplyDeleteI always doctor up my Smart Ones too. Have you tried the new whole grain pasta with spinach & feta? OMG! Delish!
Your doctored up Smart Ones looks great. I'd have to add some other vegetable though...
ReplyDeleteI love to add stuff to tv dinners too, I rarely eat them these days but when I do they are never good enough without something extra... yours looks yummy :o)
ReplyDeleteLaundry. A necessary evil. TJ, I'm always doctoring up them Smart Ones too. Just isn't enough and I'm one of those "bulk up my meal kinda gals."
ReplyDeleteOnly you could make a tv dinner look good. Jack Sh*t is too funny.
Hugs, Paula

ReplyDeleteDuh! Why didn't I think to set my timer to switch the laundry??!!
ReplyDeleteI am the queen of washing laundry, and then washing it again two days later because I forgot I put it in there!
Love your doctored up WW dinner - that looks like so much food! :D

ReplyDeletedinner looks YUMMY. can you not recreate?? I know its easier as a ready meal, but your not scared of cooking ;)
