Weekend Of Pictures!

I feel behind so in order to play catch-up here is a quick post!

Dinner at my Parent's house. Baked chicken, peas, and Italian style cauliflower. YUM to all of it! :)

Lunch on Sunday at a great Chinese restaurant (with pretty flowers on the table)

Sunday snack on the HOT deck...This week is cooler! YIPPEE!

Recipe for my snack- Tj's cream cheese stuffed won tons

10 THIN won ton wrappers (mine are CAL120/FAT1/FIBER7)
2 & 2/3 ounces cream cheese- 1/3 reduced fat (or use Fat Free!)
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
2 tablespoons chopped water chestnuts

Mix cream cheese, onions, water chestnuts in a small bowl. Lay out 10 wrappers on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Spoon cheese mixture evenly among all 10 won tons-place in the center of wrapper. Have a bowl of water close by to dip finger in and wet 2 edges of the square. Fold over won ton and press with your fingers. Spray with PAM and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes- Keep an eye on these! Might need more time- They go from not ready to over done FAST! :)

Added to the WW recipe builder and 5 of these are 3 points. :) I served them with a bottled sweet and sour sauce. They are delicious!

Dinner on Sunday was a new one. I've been wanting to try the Morningstar Italian sausages (3 points!) and we loved them! I cut them in half to put on the grill but they are kinda crumbly so I think its best to leave them whole. Grilled up some bell peppers and onions and put them on 1/2 of a sandwich thin. We had a hash brown patty and some corn with it. I really liked this meal!

Dessert! I've been dreading the Holiday drinks from Starbucks! I love the Pumpkin spice latte and the gingerbread one too! Well with the HEAT yesterday I didnt want a hot latte but I did enjoy a LIGHT pumpkin spice frappuccino! GRANDE=2 POINTS! WHOOHOO! I loved it! Although for 2 of these we paid $8.70! We could have gone out for a beer for that amount! lol I enjoyed it and I know it's not a daily splurge just a nice treat! :)

The weekend went by FAST...so I am off to do my grocery shopping! Hope everyone has a great day! :) BYE! Pin It

  11. mmmmmmmm...I love that italian sausage. You know I was never into Starbucks, but that gingerbread drink sounds tasty. During Christmas, my kids and I look at Christmas lights and end our night with cocoa and pound cake at Starbucks. Your post made me think of that. As usual, your food looks scrumptious.
