Not feeling all that great today....I did manage to get dinner prepared before it got too hot in here. I think we were suppose to be around the 100 mark...NASTY! I was planning on making stuffed peppers and I forgot to get the brown rice so I decided on just turkey patties with some curry and gram masala spices. The turkey is ground breast. I normally buy lean ground turkey. I also added 1/4 cup egg beaters, 1 onion-diced, and used my chopper for mushrooms. I think these might be borderline too healthy for Sean, but I will make him try them. :) If he doesn't like them I will have plenty of leftovers for the week for myself! I added the rest of the sliced mushrooms to the baking sheet to cook up as well. It made 10 patties 1=2 points, 2=3, 3=6 (gotta love the WW recipe builder!)
They look kinda blah huh? lol
My go to veggie-fresh green beans. Steamed with 2 crushed garlic cloves. I could eat the whole bowl of these! Seriously I love them!
Boring dinner huh? I might make a salad to go with it as well. :) Why do I feel as though I am letting you all down? lol Oh well you can't be a master chef every day right? :) Off to water the poor plants outside...and make some new jewelry! Have a great evening everyone!

Sorry about the gain...:( Its great that you have such a positive attitude about it...you will probably just lose more next week:) The dinner isn't boring...it looks good! Green beans are one of my favorite veggies!

I could imagine that time of the month you might gain weight or lose weight depending on when. I have no idea really.
ReplyDeleteKeep your chin up, only a little bit of weight. We all fluctuate slightly. It sounds like you are eating very healthy. Steams beans sounds good to go with a dinner. I'm not much for cooking but I should try some of those things.
