Tonight was tv din din night. Yeah we all need an easy night but instead of calling up the local chinese place or pizza I busted out the Safeway brand Eating Right frozen meals. I told you all about the butternut squash raviolis when I bought them on Monday- so I also saw these 2 boxes of frozen veggies.
This morning Farrah Fawcett died. I was sad, but at the same time glad that she was no longer suffering with cancer. Then I found out that Michael Jackson died. I was shocked. I was out shopping and when I got in the car to come home the radio stations were all playing his music- non stop. I cried! I grew up with his music. I loved him! I feel sad tonight and I can't stop watching all of the news stations covering his death. :(
I guess thats all from me tonight. :(
I was shocked to hear of his passing as well. I thought my husband was pulling a sick joke on me. Now I too have been watching all the coverage on him.
ReplyDeleteLife is so precious and each day we have we are so lucky! Michael and Farrah's death reminds me of this.
Take care =)
Those tacos look yummmmmy! I'm going to do lettuce wraps from now on, even when I order from Taco Bell. I'll just scoop everything outta the shell and into lettuce!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe BOTH of them died today. Sucks, sucks, sucks. At least we still have his music!
today was a weird day...
ReplyDeleteyesterday was weird!
ReplyDeleteI stayed up til 3am watching the jackson coverage over like 10 channels. Though primarily bbc...
the ravioli looks really delicious, missus!
i think his death hit a lot of people hard. it's crazy...
ReplyDeletegood idea on adding the veggies to the frozen meals!
Stunning news yesterday. Makes you stop and appreciate all that you have.
ReplyDeletetry corn soft tortillas
ReplyDeleteI am sick about MJ. I did many a drill team routine to his music as a young girl. I still know and perform the Thriller video EVERYTIME it comes on.
ReplyDeleteMy brother and sister called (kind of in jest) to see if I was "ok" after hearing about MJ. I was also a huge fan growing up, but until I saw the coverage last night I really didn't know how sad and lonely he was...I hope he is not lonely anymore.
ReplyDeleteGood idea about lettuce instead of a taco shell. I shall remember that.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had the TV on since my DIL told me last evening that MJ had died. I prefer to remember him singing 'Ben' to me when I was 13 years old...he was too by the way. We're the same age. Donny Osmond was a year older than we were...ahhhhh....puppy love.....
Ok, did you really just say you used a LEAF OF LETTUCE instead of a taco shell? Dang, you're hardcore! If I could learn to tolerate that I wouldn't be a fatty!
