:::SIGH:::

I got nothing for ya today people. lol I was busy packing and planning for our move. I called PG&E, the water company, and Comcast Cable today. Nothing fun or exciting. Sorry. I had to run over to Walmart for some toiletries! Now that is excitement! Whooooooo!! lol

As far as my eating goes while being busy and packing up my kitchen, (not to mention the rest of the house) I am proud to say that I have managed to stay OP and not be temped for those easy fixes such as THE DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW! Seven months ago when we moved here I ate like I was trying to pack on the pounds. Like I needed to make the next weight class in wrestling or something. Well it worked. TEN pounds of fast food junk stuck to my ass in just about a months worth of time. That was the last time I stopped caring. The very last time. I care a whole lot more now, and I feel so much better for it. :)

Today for breakfast I ate something different than my usual tj special breakfast sandwich (SHOCK!) I had an english muffin (1) with 2 tablespoons PB2 (1) and a banana (2). Then for lunch I had my favorite crackers with tuna (5), and an apple (1). For dinner I wanted breakfast. No I didn't mosey my way over to IHOP right down the street. Hehe! I made a whole wheat pita(2) stuffed it with 1/2 cup egg beaters (1), added 1 slice of 2% cheese (1) and 3 slices of pre-cooked bacon (2). If anyone remembers when Jack in the Box had their pita pocket breakfast sandwich, this was some mean competition for that bad boy! lol My brother and I used to get those before school like almost daily! We LOVED them! Not sure why they stopped making them, but my version was only 6 points! It was YUMMY! To go with my breakfast pita I had some canned green beans with Lawry salt and red wine vinegar. Odd paring I know, but then again I am not your average gal! :)

Yesterday I bought a couple of pairs of shorts and capris. I HATE shopping for anything that fits the lower half of my body. lol Silly but not too many things fit me. I am what you call pear shaped. I have no tummy, a small waist, but I have a butt and thighs. If the item of clothing has drawstring I am excited! Anything that I can wear that stays on my waist works! lol I was super excited to buy a size 14 (WOW) and also to have them somewhat fit around my waist. YES! :) Just a small gap in the back but it will work!

I'm pooped from packing and want to veg out the rest of the evening. Hope everyone had a OP day like me! BYE! Pin It

  4. That dinner didn't sound weird. We Americans are so hung up on what's good and when, and don't even get me started about portion size! Anyway, your pita looked good, and hooray for you staying OP with the packing. That's usually my biggest drive-thru time. Vee at www.veegettinghealthy.blogspot.com

  9. Thanks for your comments on my blog. You are correct, been very lazy about getting the veggies and fruit in. I don't know what my problem is. Going to try doing a better job of it from now on and make sure I have some kind of produce with each meal/snack. I'm also browsing around your blog for ideas for meals. that breakfast sandwich looks yummo, what sausage do you use?
