It is SO nice outside today. I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things to make this weekend and next week easy as far as meals are concerned. When I got home I realized that it was a little past 12 and I was hungry. I picked up some frozen dinners so I decided to try a "NEW" pizza from Smart Ones. I have yet to find a healthy frozen pizza that I enjoy. After today, still no luck. lol For a whopping 7 points this wasn't anything special. See what happens when you try the easy way out. lol Oh well...its done and over with. The final product did not even look like the picture on the box. My pizza had no stringy cheesy goodness when I lifted a slice off of my fancy paper plate. No perfectly browned and crispy crust. Oh no. Mine was more like cardboard dough with almost artificial like cheese topping. ::sigh:: Oh well. I ate it, and also added a salad to go with it. At least my salad was tasty. Oh dinner is a repeat of the
falafels that we had earlier this week. ( just so you know what we are having tonight for dinner Sean!lol)
Ok back to packing. I also need to get my butt out for a walk and enjoy this beautiful day. SPF 50 is my friend. Haha! :)
Pictures for your viewing enjoyment. lol

The Lean Cuisine pizza that has spinach and mushrooms (I pick the mushrooms off) is halfway decent, nothing to write home about though.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that pic looks sick! Looks like something I would eat :)
I'm also enjoying the fabulously warm weather on this gorgeous Friday!!! I loooooove the Spring weather in Cali and that's what I'm gonna miss the most about living here :(
ReplyDeleteI feel like the lady on Romper Room here.....I see carrots, olives, chi chi beans, kidney beans....what ele is in that salad? Is there any type of dressing on it? It's very colorful!
ReplyDeleteLOL Debby! That bitch on romper room never gave me a shout out ever! My Mom used to sit there and watch me cry due to not getting mad props from that show. lol
ReplyDeleteOk so I didn't think anyone would wanna know the ingredients! A little romaine lettuce, garbanzo beans, kidney beans, carrots, olives, and some diced up sugar snap peas that were suppose to be in a soup that I didn't want to make when it hit 78 here today. lol I used balsamic vinegar and canola oil as dressing on the salad with some Lawry seasoning salt. Kinda boring but it did taste good. :)
There was no warm weather here :( Just rain and blustery winds! I am always on the look out for a healthier low fat pizza. Never found one and it kills me....
ReplyDeletethat picture is nasty. how many points for an easy easy pizza I make???: naan bread from henry's, lite cheese and pizza sauce...its soooooooooooooooo yummy!!!! and easy to make....
ReplyDeleteNaan bread could be pointy there Steve. ( but thank god you got MOMS side of the families genes) lol I like to use Trader Joes whole wheat pitas w/ low fat cheese and it comes out to 5 points. I top it will tons of mushrooms usually. YUM!
ReplyDeletewhole wheat naan!!!! yuuummmmyyy
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping in my blog!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading more of yours!
I broke up with the Smart Ones products and havent looked back!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog! :)
The Lean Cuisine Garlic Chicken Pizza is yummy. Maybe give it a try next time. I am not a fan of any Smartones, except the quesadilla's. Even those at times can be iffy.
